The Healthcare Association of Hawaii’s annual Advocacy Day event will be held on Tuesday, August 25, from 9:45 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Prince Waikiki Hotel. Registration opens at 9:15 a.m.

The purpose of Advocacy Day is to determine HAH’s advocacy priorities for the coming year. A proposed advocacy package will be presented for discussion, and each regular member organization will have a say in deciding issues the Association will focus on in the coming year.

With rapid healthcare changes happening, we must use all methods of advocacy available to us at the local, state, and federal levels to serve our members. Although not all items will result in legislation, the input from members will give us direction as we pursue policy, regulatory, and legal goals.

This meeting is open to HAH regular members only. Regular members include healthcare systems, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, Type II ARCHs, home health agencies, and hospice organizations.

Register above by Aug. 17.
