Recognize your exceptional members of your team by submitting nominations for the HAH Peer Awards. This is an excellent opportunity to highlight the dedication, professionalism, and impact of your outstanding employees.

The deadline for nominations is June 17.

Selected award recipients will be honored at the HAH Awards and Scholarship Gala, to be held on October 24 at the Sheraton Waikiki.

Here are the forms and categories:

• Advocacy

• Distinguished Service (for non-clinicians such as receptionist, medical records transcriber, driver, etc.)

• Executive (VP, CEO, owner, administrator)

• Leadership (DON, CNO, manager, program director, etc.)

• Physician of the Year

• Professional With Heart (direct patient care)

• Public Health

• Rose Ann Poyzer Caregiver (home care)

Healthcare Scholarships

Employees of HAH member organizations, and their immediate family members, are eligible to apply for the healthcare scholarships. Students must be residents of Hawai`i and studying in a healthcare field, but need not be studying in state. Here are the requirements.

1. Plans to pursue a healthcare career.

2. MUST BE an Healthcare Association of Hawaii (HAH) employee or family member (parents, children, step-children, siblings, adopted, step-parents) of an employee of any HAH member organization. A list of HAH members is available at hah.org.

3. MUST BE a resident of the State of Hawai'i.

4. MUST have been accepted for enrollment or be currently enrolled in any of the following.
