Skin Health

Course Description

Chronic wounds are a serious issue for millions of Americans; they take a toll on the physical and emotional health of patients across the nation. It is essential for nurses to maintain knowledge on caring for the largest organ of the body: the skin.

Join us as we explore skin health, taking a closer look at the layers of the skin and its function, moisture associated skin damage, risk factors, characteristics, and treatment goals for wounds.
